April 1 2023 – Even More New Acquisitions

The process of gathering equipment continues.  I’ve received a very generous donation of equipment from Bernard Nicholson of Honey Harbor Ontario.  A splendid Saunders/LPL 4500II  large format enlarger, with all lenses and carriers.  Add to this two GraLab timers, a Time-O-Lite timer, two safelights,  a number of tanks and reels,  a 16×20 borderless easel, and a collection of trays.

Thanks Bernard for supporting this project!

The process of finding a space also continues.

August 31 2022 – More New Acquisitions

I’m happy to report that over the past few weeks I’ve received a number of new items  – purchased, as well as donated pieces.  The long search for a large dry mount press is over – a wonderful old press is now in our possession.

Additionally, I purchased a magnificent Leitz Focomat enlarger (we now have two) as well as an intriguing ‘retouching machine’ which I hope to put to use when I figure out how it works.  Add to this a number of easels, timers and trays, including two ceramic 11×14 trays.

I hope to have news about a space soon.

May 6 2022 – New Acquisition

Some good news – today we acquired this mint condition Beseler 45 MCRX enlarger.  It came with a color head and all the required hardware.    We are always on the lookout for equipment and accessories.  Contact us anytime with any information or enquiries.

Hi everyone – the past few weeks have been active in terms of accumulating equipment, with some purchases and donations.  Bob Burley, former Chair of the Ryerson Image Arts program, donated a  lovely Leitz Focomat enlarger, and photojournalist Fred Lum donated a Durst M700 enlarger, as well a timer and other valuable items.  The other equipment shown here is a small selection of what is currently waiting patiently in storage.  More acquisitions will be noted and posted here.
